I’m supposed to want to get shitfaced and go out and meet guys and gosh I don’t even know. But I don’t. All I care about is comedy and writing and television and film and not screwing up at work.
I need to figure things out, where I’m going and what I want, but I just feel so…stuck. Too young to do the things I’d like to, and too practical/anxiety ridden to do the things someone my age “should” want to.
you’re totally not alone. sometimes being nerdy about comedy and writing is all i care about. you have talent. i’ve seen it. if that’s what you care about, focus on that. i think, for you, the other stuff (guys, future, money) will figure itself out someday.
